Nine proposals to represent MDP in the parliament

Till now, names of nine people had been given to represent the seat of the largest opposition party MDP in the parliament.Addressing in a press conference Thursday afternoon, Dr. Mohamed Munnavaru - the chairman of the party had stated that one of the main aims of this programme is to make a note of the people who are already with interest to politics.

Furthermore, Dr. Munnavaru said that among the members who had shown interest in the programme are already members of the parliament, and also the appointment of the representative member would be decided by the National Congress. The proposals of names to represent the party in the parliament with the following of the amending constitution were opened on the 6th of this month. Furthermore, Dr. Munnavaru stated that no dead line had been given to register the interested in the Party Secretariat.
