On behalf of Dr. Hassan Saeed, Dr. Shaheed had stated that Dr. Hassan’s car and driver was attacked Monday evening, at a time when Hassan was in a studio in Henveiru.Explaining further, Shaheed said that Hassan left the car a bit far away and then arrived 8 people on motorbikes and asked to lower the side window after knocking on the door; then as the driver lowered the glass, he was asked about where his boss was and was slapped on the face.
Furthermore, Dr. Shaheed said that one among the gang of 8 got on to the top of the car, however, no damages were given.Shaheed also said that just after a while, Dr. Hassan was given a call saying from the police, explaining the situation at the car and also said that the person on top of the car was attempting to get to know where Hassan was.
However, police did not give a word regarding this.Dr. Hassan is among the ministers who spoke about the faults of the government frankly for the first time in the Maldivian history. Dr. Hassan resigned himself from the government and had announced that he would be campaigning as a candidate, in the up coming election.
