Commissioner of Elections Office has revealed that ballot boxes to be used in the forthcoming presidential elections would be positioned in places which are as open as possible.Mohamed Tholal Assistant Director General of Elections Commissioner’s Office has said that work is underway to determine such open places. Tholal also said that every effort would be made to ensure that the people can cast their votes in a free and peaceful environment.
Commissioner’s Office also reveled that as in previous years all necessary arrangements will be made to ensure smooth polling. Commissioner’s office also says it likely that position of ballot boxes have to be changed.
